Carbon Positive Motorsport is proud to confirm the continuation of the partnership with the Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship for the 2025 season, marking the third consecutive year of collaboration in sustainable motorsport.

This renewed commitment ensures that, once again, 100% of the race fuel used by Junior drivers during championship rounds will be fully carbon offset. Through this ongoing initiative, we are proud to support the championship’s mission to deliver competitive racing while taking meaningful action to reduce environmental impact.
The Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship is the recognised entry point into the sport for drivers aged 13 to 18. Competitors race in identical 1300cc Suzuki Swifts, offering an accessible and level playing field where driver ability takes centre stage. Taking place at some of the UK’s most iconic rallycross venues, the series is widely regarded as one of the most exciting and progressive development programmes in British motorsport.

The championship is about more than just race results. It also supports personal growth and professional development, assessing each competitor on conduct, attitude, and overall awareness. This includes preparing young drivers to become ambassadors for a more sustainable future in motorsport, which is a key focus of our partnership.
“This renewed partnership demonstrates our ongoing dedication to nurturing not just skilled drivers, but environmentally conscious athletes,” said Championship Organiser Peter Gwynne. “As we prepare our young talents for their racing careers, we’re equally focused on preparing them to be responsible stewards of our sport’s environmental future.”
Steve Smith, Director of Carbon Positive Motorsport, added:“We’re incredibly proud to continue our support of the Junior Rallycross Championship. It’s inspiring to see such young talent developing not only as skilled drivers but as future leaders of a more responsible motorsport culture. Helping them understand the importance of sustainability from the very start of their careers is something we’re genuinely passionate about. It’s a privilege to play a part in their journey, and we look forward to another exciting and impactful season.”

The 2025 Junior Rallycross season will get underway on 19th April at the legendary Lydden Hill Race Circuit in Kent, the birthplace of rallycross and a challenging, fast-paced track that promises an exciting start to the season.
Each event offers young drivers the opportunity to test and refine their skills in a professional environment while building a foundation for future success in motorsport. Carbon Positive Motorsport is proud to support the next generation of competitors in leading the way towards a more sustainable future for motorsport.
