Carbon Positive Motorsport Ambassador Max Coates will return to the Porsche Sprint Challenge in 2024 with a brand new 718 Cayman GT4 RS.
The Yorkshireman will go into his fourth season racing with Graves Motorsport and his second in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, which is a support race to the British Touring Car Championship.
After a getting a year of Porsche racing under his belt and taking 3rd overall in the 2023 Challenge, his aim will be to take the title this season.
Max said, “I am relishing the opportunity to drive this new Cayman GT4 RS, I’ve had two brief drives so far and it’s simply an amazing car. Snetterton can’t come soon enough. I’m massively grateful for the continued support of my partners, Primex Plastics continuing to back my racing activities alongside JiC Transport, NGK Spark Plugs, CTL Dental and RGPS as well as Carbon Positive Motorsport who will be offsetting our CO2 emissions."
The team from Carbon Positive Motorsport were delighted to be invited along to Croft Circuit to see Max unveil his new car. Founding director, Steve Smith, said: "We're excited to continue to support Max in the Porsche Sprint Challenge. The new 718 is simply stunning and we can't wait to see Max in action at Snetterton. We love having our decals on the roof - they should be there for all to see when Max is interviewed on ITV!"
The season starts in two weeks at Snetterton with the first rounds over the weekend of the 25th and 26th May. Max will be out testing this weekend at Donington on Sunday and then for the pre-season Porsche launch day at Snetterton on Wednesday before racing commences.
