Carbon Positive Motorsport ambassador Max Coates celebrated a successful Porsche Sprint Challenge GB meeting at his home circuit last weekend, taking a win and two podium positions.

Yorkshireman Max Coates has enjoyed a successful season racing his new Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport RS as part of the popular British Touring Car Championship series.
Racing for Team Omologato with Graves Motorsport, Max debuted his Cayman at Snetterton on the weekend of 25/26 May with two second places and a win.
The next meeting at Oulton Park saw Max coming away from the Cheshire circuit with a sixth and fourth position in races one and two respectively, followed by his best result of the weekend, third place in race three.
Max was buzzing to be racing at his home circuit last weekend, commenting, "It's always a highlight in my season for so many reasons. I'm hoping to share in some champagne moments with all my friends, family and sponsors. We got our debut Porsche win here in 2023 and after last week's test I’m feeling confident there’s more to come."
Max was delighted to win races one and three, and take third place in the second race: "On track and off track it’s been a blast. Thanks to everyone for coming and supporting, I’ve had a great time and I hope everyone else had too.
"I might be the person that drivers the car but I couldn’t do this without my team, my team mates, Ethan, Jacob and JB, or my partners. I might turn the steering wheel but there’s so many people who allow me to."
Max heads to the next Porsche Sprint Challenge GB meeting having moved into second place in the championship standings. The next race will take place at Donington Park on 24/24 August.
