The Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship is gearing up for an exhilarating season finale at Lydden Hill Race Circuit on November 2-3, 2024.
Carbon Positive Motorsport continues to to support these young drivers by offsetting all competitor fuel usage, helping to educate young drivers on reducing their carbon footprint and promoting sustainability in Motorsport.
This event promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the season, where these young drivers will line up in their identical 1.3 Suzuki Swifts, ready to show their skills this weekend.
Reigning Champion Tyler McAplin has consistently demonstrated an impressive performance throughout the season, where Benjamin Bartlett's fierce determination has made him a formidable contender on the track.
Teddie Macpherson's strategic driving has earned him respect among his peers, whilst mechanical gremlins have hampered Cayden Harris from showing his true potential so far this season.

The season finale will take place at the historic Lydden Hill Race Circuit, known for its challenging layout and rich rallycross heritage. The event will feature a full 5 Nations British Rallycross program, with racing under spotlights on Saturday, providing fans with plenty of heart-pounding action before an epic firework display.
The final round of the season sees Carbon Positive Motorsport celebrating a fantastic year working with the next generation in motorsport. "As well as competing for the championship title, these juniors have been learning about the importance of keeping their sport sustainable and spreading the word about responsible racing, says Steve Smith, Founding Director of Carbon Positive Motorsport.
“The Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship really shows how we can race responsibly,” he added, “For instance, a single junior event only uses about 175 litres of fuel, and by the end of the season, the entire championship will have consumed just over 1,000 litres. Thanks to our certified offsetting projects here in the UK, we’ll be offsetting around 2 to 2.5 tonnes of CO₂ both now and for the future.”
As the championship reaches its grand finale, Carbon Positive Motorsport wishes all the young drivers a safe and exciting last race and looks forward to continuing to help build a sustainable legacy for motorsport.
