CPM supports Max Coates in 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup GB campaign

Carbon Positive Motorsport is proud to confirm its continued support for brand ambassador Max Coates as he steps up to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain for the 2025 season. This exciting development builds on Max’s long-standing relationship with Carbon Positive Motorsport and highlights the our commitment to supporting sustainable motorsport at all levels.

Now entering its 23rd season, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB remains the fastest single-marque GT racing championship in the UK. The series features identical 510 hp Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, offering a level playing field that rewards pure driver ability. As one of the most prestigious domestic championships, it serves as a key platform for drivers aiming to accelerate their careers.

Max Coates joins the grid with Duckhams Yuasa Racing by Graves Motorsport – a team with a proven record of success, having won the championship with Daniel Cammish in their debut season and again in 2024 with Adam Smalley. That pedigree makes the opportunity all the more significant for Max, who is determined to make the most of this chance to prove himself at the sharp end of the field.

“Entering the 2025 season with the backing and support of Duckhams and Yuasa provides me with the opportunity to graduate to Porsche’s flagship Carrera Cup GB series and know that I will be able to mount a serious challenge at the front of the grid,” he said. “It gives me great pride to know that I’m entrusted to follow in Dan and Adam’s footsteps and my target is very much on emulating their championship success.”

Chris Hodgen, Team Principal of Duckhams Yuasa Racing, added: “As we enter the 2025 season, we are excited to have Max and Jacob representing us. Both drivers embody the determination and drive that we stand for, and we are confident they will both make a strong impact in their respective championships.“

I got to know Max last year and was impressed with what he achieved, especially given the budget constraints he faced compared to others. I felt he deserved a chance with the right backing.”

Max’s 2025 campaign is made possible by the continued support of valued partners including Primex Plastics, Plas-Tech, Emmitt Plant, JiC Transport, NGK Spark Plugs, CTL Dental, Green Bricks, Carbon Positive Motorsport, and Teesside Karting. New partners joining the journey this year include Alcema, Beatsons Building Supplies and Race Tapes, helping Max take this next step in his career. The team is also backed by Duckhams Oil and Yuasa, with further support from Jurid, Moog, Luften Filters and Herth + Buss.
