In it's silver anniversary year, the McDonald and Munro Speyside Stages will offset a minimum of 20,000Kg CO2e, with over 60% of competitors competing with their carbon emissions offset by Carbon Positive Motorsport, in the second year of their partnership with the event.

Despite not competing on the event this year, former Scottish Ladies Rally Champion and Carbon Positive Motorsport brand ambassador Ashleigh Morris, together with partners Becksport Media, will still be contributing to the event's carbon offsetting by having all their event travel emissions offset, as part of the event's organisation.

Speaking about the partnership with Carbon Positive Motorsport, Alasdair Beck said: "We all need to consider our impact on the environment, and the work of Carbon Positive Motorsport to offer high quality and legally verifiable carbon offsetting projects in the UK, enables us to offset our emissions from all the motorsport activities we undertake across the country."

Paul Glass of Carbon Positive Motorsport added: "We have really appreciated the support of Becksport Media as customers since we launched, and the fact they take such responsibility for mitigating their carbon footprint in the interests of the sport.

"I’m delighted that Ashleigh will join them for the Speyside Stages media this year, she did an incredible job in front of the camera on our Sky News Climate show feature last year, and I’m happy that all travel-based carbon emissions for Ashleigh and Becksport will form part of the total offsetting provided by ourselves to the event."
